Trapped in a fire, poor Tefla still lives on the spot... she is completely traumatised!

1. She's traumatised!

Tefla is a nine-month-old kitten who is currently trapped in a site where a fire occurred. This poor creature is so terrified and disoriented that we still haven't managed to catch her. She's incredibly skinny and likely has burnt paws...

2. She still lives on-site, outdoors...

Poor Tefla is still living amidst the ashes, has nowhere to take shelter. All the trees have burned down, so she no longer has familiar landmarks or any place to go…!

3. Canned food could give her the strength she needs

A diet of wet, balanced food would be perfect for Tefla to regain energy and put on a little weight. Appetising canned food like this could help us gain her trust, so we can eventually provide her the care she needs.

4. The fires caused real devastation...

Following the fires in Aude, our association was forced to take in many strays. Two of our feeding sites were affected, and many cats were severely burned!

We're gradually placing them in foster homes, but it's really complicated as we were already struggling to find places. We also can't afford to buy food, blankets, and shelter for all these cats who urgently need them…
