1. A virus is causing ulcers in his mouth!

Blacky is a four-year-old feral cat who has calicivirus. The inside of his mouth is inflamed and full of ulcers, causing severe drooling.

Some of his teeth have even become loose! Therefore, he can't eat kibbles anymore. We are currently trying to catch him to take him for treatment…

2. He lives outdoors…

Blacky is so wild that he can't tolerate being indoors. He therefore takes refuge in the yard of the association, but has nowhere to shelter when it rains…

3. A kennel would provide him with shelter from the weather

A kennel would allow Blacky to maintain his independence, without getting soaked in the rain. He could take shelter there in case of unpredictable weather, which would be a real positive change for him! His sleep would be much more restful, affecting his overall wellbeing positively.

4. It's becoming difficult for the association to keep afloat…

There are always a lot of abandonments. At the moment, we have about thirty tomcats in foster homes and twenty feral cats on site. As for donations, they remain very scarce, despite shopping bag campaigns!

Currently, we only have supplies for a few more days... Unfortunately, our means do not allow us to buy new kennels, blankets and the canned food that our tomcats desperately need!
