Diarrhoea, vomiting, fatigue: poor Caelie has giardiasis!

1. A parasitic disease is causing her digestive problems…

Caelie is a two-and-a-half-month-old kitten that we found in a garden. Unfortunately, she has giardiasis, a disease caused by the presence of a parasite in the digestive system. The poor thing is exhausted, as she is vomiting and suffering from diarrhoea!

2. To regain strength, she will need gastro-intestinal canned food

Highly digestible food such as canned food would be perfect for Caelie. Designed to be easy on the intestines, such a diet would allow her to effectively regain nutrients. It would be a real boost to her continued growth!

3. The association is overwhelmed!

With about forty adult cats to look after, our association is at full capacity. Most of the cats arrive in a poor state of health, which often entails significant costs to provide them with the necessary care…

There are a few adoptions, but as soon as one cat gets a new home, another in need arrives… Abandonments are on the rise!
