Gum pain, pus-filled eyes and mouth, weight loss: poor Chat is suffering from both cat flu and calicivirus!

1. He's in poor health...

Chât is a roughly two-year-old cat, who is experiencing cat flu and a calicivirus infection. His eyes are teary, and he's struggling to eat because the inside of his mouth is inflamed and sometimes producing pus... Poor thing is so thin!

Since he's rather skittish, we're having a hard time catching him for treatment. Thus, we're resorting to slipping tablets into his food, hoping it can provide him with some relief...

2. He lives outdoors!

Chât lives in the countryside, in a garden. The area is very exposed to wind, making winter times especially challenging...

3. A cat house would provide him the shelter he needs

With his very own cat house, Chât would have a place to take shelter from the wind. Safer from the elements, he would have better sleep and could face the winter more confidently.

4. There's a calicivirus outbreak among our wards!

Our organisation receives very few donations. Managing around thirty cats, taking in new ones, and facing a calicivirus outbreak, we're starting to run short on budget for their canned food...
