Pilou, aged 12, came to us at the shelter following the death of his owner. His family were unable to keep him, so we took him in. However, this unexpected change has been exceptionally tough on our elderly gentleman...

2. Blankets would bring him comfort

Blankets would enable Pilou to create cosy spaces in the shelter. At his age, he needs warmth and security to feel well, regain a little serenity and cushion the blow of what he’s been through.

3. We have run out of funds...

Our shelter receives no funding, and our resources are now depleted. With around 200 cats to feed, the situation is critical. We are experiencing significant abandonment, and unfortunately, we have to turn down new entrants due to a lack of space. A large veterinary debt which we are slowly repaying only makes our framework more complex…
