Tikita suffers from chronic cat flu which has made her blind!

1. She has lost her sight...

Tikita is a little three-year-old cat who arrived at the shelter when she was two months old, suffering heavily from cat flu. Sadly, the disease made her blind: one of her eyes had to be removed and she can't see with the other one anymore. Today, she can't jump or climb anymore, but she remains brave and is doing well.

2. Her cat flu is recurrent...

Tikita is monitored every time her cat flu flares up, as it has taken on a chronic form. She also had an aural hematoma following an ear mites infection. These repeating episodes are hard on her and require regular care.

3. Blankets would bring her stability and comfort

Blankets would allow Tikita to create stable landmarks at the shelter. Being blind, she needs reassuring spaces where she can find refuge and warm up in complete safety.

4. We have no more funds...

Our association receives no subsidies and we find ourselves without any funds. With about 200 cats to feed, the situation is critical. We are faced with a high number of abandonments and sadly, we have to turn down new admissions due to lack of space. An overwhelming veterinary debt we are slowly repaying is further complicating our situation…
