Following abandonment, Rasta is preparing to spend another winter outside!

1. Likely abandoned...

Rasta is a free-roaming cat of approximately three years old, which we started to look after two and a half years ago. We suspect he was likely abandoned. Since then, we’ve been feeding him every day. Less feral than some of our other charges, he’s even willing to let us stroke him...

2. Blankets would keep him warm

We've done what we can with the resources at hand: Rasta often sleeps on an old armchair. Extra blankets would help Rasta to conserve his body heat and rest more comfortably, until we can provide him with more suitable shelter.

3. 20 free-roaming cats rely on us, but we no longer have the means…

For months now, our small team has been looking after 20 free-roaming cats every day. They live outside, without shelter, but never without care. We feed and watch over them daily. But winter is coming, and they sleep on the frozen ground. The responsibility rests entirely on our president, who’s been single-handedly financing this mission from the start. Without subsidies, without external aid, she’s unable to keep going!
