Weight loss, lack of appetite, tiredness: poor Mama Bear is not at all in good shape...

1. She's not doing well!

Mama Bear is a female cat aged around 13, who lives outdoors. She's lost a lot of weight recently and her fur is starting to fall out...

We're not sure what's causing her condition, but she sometimes struggles to eat: she experiences pain whilst eating and even salivates frequently. She's also skipping meals, which weakens her even further.

2. With suitable canned food, she could regain her strength

Wet cat food would be ideal for Mama Bear. It's appetising and easy to swallow, which would assist her to eat even when she's in pain, providing her with the necessary nutrients to brave the cold. With these canned meals, she could gradually regain strength and recuperate some energy.

3. Specialised food is too expensive…

Most of our charges are ill and aged, meaning they can no longer eat dry food. Unfortunately, our budget isn't sufficient to provide them all with the specialised food they require… With winter coming, our poor feline friends need to eat adequately more than ever!
