Poor Sandie has had both her eyes gouged out!

1. She is completely blind!

Sandie is a two-year-old cat, found at a feeding site with both her eyes gouged out, and we do not know what happened to her.

She now lives indoors and has learned to find her way around, but the slightest change can disorient her and lead to collisions! Since her eyes were not removed, we have to clean them morning and evening, and regularly apply an ointment to prevent infections.

2. Blankets would help to create a safe environment

A supply of blankets would help to make Sandie's environment safer, protecting her from injury in case of a fall. They would also allow her to retain body heat while we wait for the return of warmer weather.

3. We are overwhelmed!

The situation of our association has become so critical that we are desperate! A majority of our cats are elderly and need care, kennels, blankets and suitable canned food.

All this is exceptionally costly. With more than 120 animals to look after, we have ended up in debt... We can't see the light at the end of the tunnel!
