Poor Mamanoune lives outside, even though she's not doing well!

1. Her health is deteriorating!

Mamanoune is a female cat of around ten years old, who had urinary stones a year ago. A few days ago, her condition worsened again as she was developing struvite stones. We have therefore put her on treatment and plan to do a blood test again in about 15 days.

2. She lives outdoors...

Unfortunately, Mamanoune lives outdoors. We had made a makeshift shelter for her, but it's leaky. She no longer has anywhere to take shelter!

3. A cat house would provide the refuge she needs

With a cat house, Mamanoune would no longer have to sleep on the ground or in the rain. She could take shelter there in bad weather, in order to get more restful sleep. Her later years would be that much more peaceful!

4. An outbreak has disrupted the already precarious financial balance of our association...

Many of our cats are ill due to a very virulent outbreak of cat flu. Between the care costs and the price of specialised food, we no longer have a budget! Continuing to care for about sixty cats under these conditions is becoming complicated...
