1. He has endured severe trauma!

Zitou is a fourteen-year-old dog who has spent his entire life on the streets of Reunion. One day, his paw was crushed after he was hit by a car. He was operated on site with a titanium plate, but three years later, the screws and bones have given in...

Brought back to us, he had to have his hind leg amputated a few weeks ago. He is slowly recovering from this heavy surgery.

2. Canned food would help him maintain strength

Wet food designed specifically for ageing dogs would make it easier for Zitou to eat despite his fatigue. Such canned food would be of great support to him to continue his recovery, whilst providing him with the nutrients he desperately needs.

3. Times are truly tough...

Our food stocks are depleted! Donations are less than before. Most of our protégés need costly medical care and equally costly food. This far exceeds our meagre means...
