Ethan, still a bit of a wildcat, sleeps outside without any protection!

1. He is too fearful to live indoors...

Ethan is a 9-year-old cat, born from a wild mother. Despite being rescued and placed into foster care, he has remained semi-feral, being hesitant to come inside. Consequently, he has lived outdoors his whole life.

2. He was attacked by a dog

A few months ago, Ethan was bitten by a dog and developed several deep abscesses on his flank, which proved difficult to heal. He is now improved but was weakened by this ordeal. As he ages, Ethan becomes more vulnerable outdoors!

3. With a shelter, he could rest securely

A shelter would offer Ethan a refuge where he could hide from the wind, rain, and cold. As such, he could rest in peace and safety, and be less affected by the increasingly harsh outdoor conditions.

4. The association's income is no longer enough...

We take care of numerous cats in long-term foster care as they are too sick or too feral to be adopted. We also manage the feeding and care of numerous free-living cats which we have identified and neutered. Our only sources of income come from small sales, occasional pet sitting, and a single sponsorship... Without grants or adoptions, we struggle tremendously to meet our expenses...
