Tikita suffers from chronic cat flu which has made her blind!

1. She lost her sight…

Tikita is a little three-year-old cat who arrived at the shelter at the age of two months with a severe case of cat flu. Unfortunately, the illness rendered her blind: she had to have one eye removed and the other can no longer see. Today, she is unable to jump or climb, but she remains brave and copes well.

2. Her cat flu is recurrent…

Tikita is managed with each recurrence of her cat flu, as it has become chronic. She also experienced a haematoma following ear mites. These repeated episodes are hard for her and require constant care.

3. Canned food would help her maintain her strength

A wet and appetising diet, rich in nutrients, would enable Tikita to bolster her energy. This would help her to stay healthy despite her disability and recurring health problems.

4. We no longer have funds…

Our association receives no grants and is lacking funds. With approximately 200 cats to feed, the situation is critical. We're dealing with numerous abandonments and, sadly, have to refuse intake due to lack of space. A considerable veterinary debt, which we're managing to repay bit by bit, further complicates our situation…
