1. He's struggling to walk...

Shine is a 16-year-old purebred Arabian horse who has an articular fragment in his left fetlock. This abnormality is causing him to limp and is hindering his movement.

Surgery would be very heavy, with little chance of success and a long recovery, which is why we prefer not to operate on him.

2. Pellets would help him keep up

Pellets would provide Shine with the energy and nutrients he needs to compensate for his difficulties and maintain his weight despite his reduced mobility. It would be a real dietary support for him!

3. We are running out of food!

Our finances are always very limited, so we cannot undertake many new admissions. Currently, our stocks of pellets are very low: we will not be able to hold out much longer!
