Recently operated on, little Aréna is fighting to survive!

1. She underwent major surgery...

Aréna is a kitten born in April 2025, who was found without her mum and then hand-reared in a foster family. She underwent surgery two days ago for an intestinal fistula, requiring a section of her intestine to be removed...

We do not yet know if the operation will be enough: she may also become incontinent for life. At present, she only weighs 1.4 kg and is having great difficulty evacuating.

2. Suitable canned food would help her recover

Wet food, suitable for kittens, could provide Aréna with the essential help for her to regain weight. Easy to digest and highly energetic, this type of canned food would assist her recovery following surgery, and help her continue growing despite her current extreme fragility.

3. It’s a true catastrophe!

At present, we still have around forty kittens in foster homes, in addition to all our other charges, many of whom are ill. Every month, we're left wondering how we are going to manage to feed them all.

In 2025, we had to pay out tens of thousands of euros in vet bills... it's enormous for our budget! We have nothing left to buy food for all these moggies!
