Kéola was found at a feeding site just after she was born. Her mother had tragically died giving birth to her, and her brother had passed away from hypothermia!
Since Kéola has been with us, she has developed a tumour in her ear. The veterinarian has performed surgery, but was unable to remove the entire tumour.
What remains of the mass bothers Kéola, who scratches a lot! Therefore, a second operation will be needed, this time from a specialised surgeon.
A wet and appetising diet would help Kéola maintain a good general health condition, despite her current health problems. Such a nutrient-rich diet would also ensure she stays well-hydrated.
Our association's situation has become so dire that we are desperate! Most of our cats are older and require care, shelters, blankets and suitable canned food.
All of it is incredibly costly. Managing over 120 animals, we've ended up in debt... There seems to be no end in sight!
