The owner of poor Furka was planning to shoot her!

1. She was at risk of being shot!

Furka is an elderly dog we took in several years ago as her owner threatened to shoot her!

2. She has endured multiple strokes...

Furka suffered two strokes and still bears some after-effects: her head is tilted and she occasionally becomes disoriented... Consequently, we continue to provide her with treatment.

3. Her kidneys are not functioning well...

Affected by kidney failure, Furka is very thin. As her kidneys are no longer effectively filtering toxins from her body, she struggles to regain weight.

4. Blankets would offer her some comfort

With a supply of blankets, Furka would have a cosy, comfortable place to settle down and relax. Until the warmer weather returns, she could curl up there to keep warm.

5. Many of our wards have suffered abuse...

We prioritise caring for hunting dogs, as well as those that have been abused. Currently, we have many animals to look after, but unfortunately, no grants or subsidies.

In the three years since the association was founded, we have constantly faced hardship!
