1. His body is weary…

Quevrin is a 21-year-old ex-horse of the Republican Guard, who was abandoned at our shelter in December. He was extremely weak, having already lost body condition upon his arrival.

Today, he suffers from two tendinitis in the forelimbs and his hocks are very fragile. He finds moving around difficult and his overall health is severely compromised…

2. To sustain himself, he requires pellets

A rich and suitable diet like pellets would provide Quevrin with the essential nutrients that his weakened body requires. This would assist in weight gain and reviving some of his energy.

3. Adoptions are becoming increasingly scarce…

At the moment, our association is going through a particularly tough time: donations are scarce, there are very few adoptions and our animals, recovering from winter, need supplementary feeding more than ever... but pellets are expensive, and we simply can't afford to buy more!
