1. He is weakened by a chronic illness!

Papinou is a 12-year-old cat who was found two years ago with numerous wounds on his body. We treated his injuries, but today he suffers from hyperthyroidism, a disease that causes him to be very thin, despite having a good appetite.

He is currently undergoing vet treatment, crucial for maintaining his health, but his system remains fragile and requires constant attention.

2. He sleeps outside...

Papinou lives outside, in front of a feeder's house. Even though partially sheltered by a pergola, he is still very exposed to the cold, wind, and humidity, which does not help his condition!

3. Canned food would help him healthily regain strength

A diet specifically designed for senior cats would be ideal for helping Papinou. Full of good nutrients, such canned food would provide him with what he needs to regain strength daily, without exacerbating his health problems.

This could be a good way for him to stabilise, or even regain a bit of weight to put himself out of danger.

4. The expenses are astronomical!

Our association has been around since 1988. At the moment, we feed and look after over 400 toms! This represents numerous expenses and the bills are colossal... But the subsidies remain very low. We are no longer keeping afloat!
