Stunted growth, difficulty eating, excessive drooling: little Zenith has caught a bad case of calicivirus!

1. He is having a lot of trouble feeding himself...

Zenith is a four-month-old kitten who, unfortunately, has contracted calicivirus. The inflammation in his mouth has led to excessive drooling, making it difficult for him to eat. As a result, he isn't gaining weight and is experiencing stunted growth...

So we arranged for him to receive injections of antibiotics and cortisone from the vet in order to provide some relief.

2. Canned food would provide him with the energy he needs

A diet rich in vitamins and proteins, like canned food, would be perfect for helping Zenith to regain his strength.

Suitable for his age and easy to swallow, it would support him in regaining weight and building up his strength. He would then be able to continue his growth more comfortably.

3. The economic climate is severely penalising us...

With the present uncertainty surrounding the economic crisis, people are afraid and hardly making any donations. So we are forced to buy food ourselves, despite our own increasingly tight budget... We won't be able to sustain this for long!
