Diabetic and disabled, Canaille needs suitable tins!

1. He's disabled!

Canaille is a 13-year-old cat, who only has three legs. Indeed, two years ago, he had to be amputated because of a tumour in one of his hind legs. Since then, he has learned to live with his disability. But he can no longer jump...

2. He has diabetes...

Sadly, Canaille is diabetic. We have therefore placed him in foster care, where he receives an insulin injection morning and evening to maintain a stable condition, despite his illness.

3. To keep up, he's going to need specialised canned food

A diet specifically designed for diabetic cats would be ideal for Canaille. Such canned food would help stabilise his blood sugar whilst providing the nutrients he needs daily. It would be a good way for him to stay healthy despite everything.

4. There are few adoptions!

Keeping the association afloat is always very challenging. Many cats have illnesses and disabilities, which means they are not adopted...

We therefore struggle to feed all our charges, as veterinary costs weigh heavily on our budget!
