1. A virus knocks her out!

Esprit is a six year-old cat suffering from cat flu. Her eyes are constantly watery and she spends her time sneezing, which tires her greatly...

2. She's struggling with her food...

Sadly, Esprit has contracted calicivirus. Her gums are so inflamed that she finds it hard to eat dry food. She's thin, but she just can't seem to put on weight!

3. She lives outdoors!

Esprit lives in the country, in a garden. The location is very exposed to the wind, which doesn't make it easy for her to recover...

4. She will need canned food to put on weight

A diet of wet food would be easier for Esprit to ingest than dry food. Full of good nutrients, this type of food would supply her with the energy she needs to regain her strength and put on weight.

5. A calicivirus epidemic is wreaking havoc among our charges!

Our organisation receives very few donations. With around thirty cats to look after, new intakes, and a calicivirus outbreak, we're starting to run out of budget for food...
