1. He's in a terrible state!

Totem is a kitten of about 10 months, who was outside during the fires. Since then, he has been seriously weakened by cat flu: his eyes are runny, his fur dirty, he's very weak and has stopped grooming himself...

2. He lives outside, amidst the fire wreckage...

Due to a lack of foster homes, Totem still lives outside. The site offers nothing, having been completely burnt out! The recent rains have created mud everywhere... The place is extremely damp and gets very cold at night!

3. With some blankets, he wouldn't have to sleep on the bare ground

A stack of blankets would provide Totem with a cosy and comfy place to retreat to after what he has been through. It would be a good way for him to retain his body heat, to sleep better at night. A bit of warmth would be an immense comfort to him in the wake of his ordeal!

4. Our budget has gone up in smoke due to the fires!

Following the fires, we are still facing enormous difficulties. All our financial resources have gone into caring for injured and burned cats! The aid and donations received are insufficient... It's becoming very tough to continue our efforts under these conditions!
