Cough, fast breathing: little Goddess was born just before the fires!

1. She's not doing well…

Déesse is a six-month-old kitten who was outside during the fires: she had just been born! Since then, she's been weak, coughing and breathing very quickly... We're still unsure whether it's related to a heart problem or a lung infection.

2. She lives outdoors, amongst the remnants of the fire…

Due to a lack of sufficient foster homes, Déesse is sadly still living outdoors. There's nothing left on-site: everything was burnt to ashes! The recent rains have turned everything into mud… The place is damp and it gets very cold at night!

3. With blankets, she wouldn't have to sleep on the cold ground

A set of blankets could provide Déesse with a cosy and comfortable refuge having been through so much. It would be a great way for her to conserve her body heat, enabling a better night's sleep. Some warmth and comfort would be enormously beneficial, considering everything she's been through!

4. Our budget has gone up in smoke due to the fires!

ever since the fires, we’ve been facing tremendous difficulties. All our finances have been spent on medical care for injured and burnt cats! Donations and support are insufficient… It's become incredibly challenging to continue our work under these circumstances!
