Weight loss, pain when urinating... poor Soleil is not feeling well!

1. He has urinary issues!

Soleil is a young cat of about one year old, who was outside during the fires. Since then, he has become very thin and cries out loudly when urinating... We are going to try and trap him to take him for more in-depth medical examinations.

2. He lives outdoors, amongst the remnants of the fire...

Due to a lack of available foster families, Soleil is still living outdoors. There's nothing left there: everything was burnt! The recent rains have turned the place into a mud bath... The area is particularly damp and gets very cold at night!

3. With blankets, he wouldn't have to sleep directly on the ground

A batch of blankets would give Soleil a cosy and comfortable place to retreat to after everything he's been through. It would be an effective way for him to retain his body heat, and get a better night's sleep. A little comfort would be of great solace to him, after the ordeal he's survived!

4. Our budget went up in smoke during the fires!

Since the fires, we are still facing enormous difficulties. All our funds have gone on treatment for the injured and burnt cats! The assistance and donations we receive are inadequate... It is becoming extremely hard to continue our activities under these conditions!
