1. He was abandoned in the middle of the forest...

We took Blackie in during 2017: he had been abandoned in the forest, was frail and starving... He was also smaller than expected for his age. He remains very territorial and lacks feline communication skills, which complicates interactions with other cats. Even today, Blackie spends a lot of his time outdoors.

2. Blankets would keep him warm

Blankets would provide Blackie with a warm and personal sleeping spot, where he could seek refuge when needed. A bit of well-deserved comfort for this cat who has already endured so much...

3. The association's income is no longer enough...

We care for numerous cats in long-term foster families, as they are too ill or too wild to be adopted. We also manage the feeding and care of many free-living cats that we have had identified and neutered. Our only source of income comes from small sales, occasional pet-sitting, and a single sponsorship... Without subsidies or adoptions, we struggle tremendously to cover expenses...
