Poor Shenzi has very worn teeth and struggles to eat...

1. Her teeth are damaged...

Shenzi is an 11-year-old mixed breed, part Swiss Shepherd and part Border Collie. As she's aged, her teeth have become more and more damaged, and she can no longer chew dry food.

She is also very nervous and stressed, as she's afraid of being abandoned. Therefore we're doing our best to support and comfort her.

2. Blankets would provide her with the comfort she needs to relax

A pile of blankets would give Shenzi a clean and comfortable place to lie down. This would help improve her sleep, which might in turn help her to feel less stressed. A little comfort would certainly go a long way in making her feel better!

3. We're running out of resources!

Our food supplies are running low and there are no donations... We're doing our utmost, but our resources are limited and it's starting to become difficult to feed all the dogs in our care!
