1. He suffered from abuse!

Hedo is a dog of around 10 years old, who suffered from abuse before being abandoned. He was beaten so much that his legs are all deformed and filled with arthritis.

2. He's getting old...

With age, Hedo is growing weaker and has developed heart failure: he tires easily. His teeth are also heavily worn, which prevents him from being able to chew kibble...

3. Canned food would allow him to easily regain his strength

A wet and easy to swallow food like canned food would be perfect for allowing Hedo to easily replenish his energy, despite the condition of his teeth.
