Cat flu, gingivitis, underweight: Crachou urgently needs suitable food!

1. He has persistent cat flu!

Crachou is a cat of about five years old, suffering from recurring cat flu. The virus appears in phases. Crachou then starts sneezing a lot and his eyes constantly water…

As he is a carrier of FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), despite treatment, he is unable to get well.

2. Gingivitis is making it difficult for him to eat…

Crachou regularly has inflamed gums. Some of his teeth have become loose, so he finds it very hard to eat. Because of this, he has lost a lot of weight!

3. To regain strength, he needs canned food

Wet food like pâté would be easier for Crachou to consume than kibble. It would give him a chance to gain weight and bulk up a bit. It would also make it easier for him to take his medications.

4. It is becoming very tough to keep going!

We look after approximately 150 animals each year. But due to the crisis, donations have been adversely affected: they have decreased by half, while vet fees have skyrocketed! The little money we manage to raise through adoptions is not enough to feed all our charges…
