Emaciation, injuries, fear of humans: poor Belle has suffered abuse and carries significant lasting effects!

1. She's been abused!

Belle is a two-year-old dog that we took in following a seizure. Poor thing has suffered abuse and bears the scars of it. Tied to a rope of less than a metre, she was also inadequately fed.

Skeletal upon arrival, she also had some minor wounds. We are doing our utmost to nurse her back to health and take care of her, but she remains very fearful...

2. In order to bounce back, she's going to need canned food

Comforting food, such as canned ones, would help to calm Belle and make her trust us more. It would also be a good way for her to quickly gain weight. She would thus regain better overall health and could start her new life!

3. Donations are far too rare...

Donations are very scarce and we are short of resources. Taking care of all the moggies that count on us, and who are nearly all ill, becomes particularly complicated with a budget reduced to next to nothing... Especially as we have very high veterinary bills to pay!
