1. He has heart problems...

Hippo is a blind and deaf cat of around 10 years old, who we found on a car park. Unfortunately, he suffers from a thickening of the outer walls of the heart.

This causes him to have debilitating difficulties with breathing, as well as fluid in his abdomen and a bloated stomach... We provide him with treatment to give him some relief.

2. He has cat flu!

Last winter, Hippo had a severe case of cat flu. Since then, his nose has remained purulent and he is worn-out. We've given him a new injection of anti-inflammatory drugs and are administrating antibiotics.

3. Blankets would offer him precious comfort

To help maintain his body heat at night despite his age, Hippo would greatly benefit from a set of blankets. He could nestle in them and enjoy a bit of cosiness, making his twilight years more peaceful.

4. The crisis has directly impacted us!

Many of our charges are ill and some new ones have arrived in a very poor condition.

With nearly 80 moggies to manage, the vet appointments have stacked up, and so have the bills... Unfortunately, the collections from stores are insufficient!
