Poor Laurier is suffering from a calicivirus which is causing him difficulty eating...

1. He has ulcers in his mouth!

Laurier is a cat of around 7 years, whose owner could no longer look after him. The poor thing is suffering from a calicivirus which causes ulcers in his mouth. He drools a lot and struggles to eat normally.

We add antibiotics to his food and give him cortisone injections, in an attempt to ease his discomfort...

2. Canned food would help him regain his strength more easily

A damp and appetising diet like canned pâté would be perfect for Laurier. Healthy and rich in good nutrients, such a diet would help him maintain his condition, despite the difficulties.

3. Epidemic, accident... the costs keep piling up but donations are lagging behind!

About ten days ago, one of our cats was hit by a car. We incurred costs of 1,000 euros, while we were already facing financial difficulties due to a cat flu epidemic!

Consequently, we are forced to limit new admissions and are calling for your help, in order to continue assisting the fifty or so cats that depend on us...
