1. Her legs are very delicate!

Union is a 24-year-old draught mare suffering from lymphedema. Her legs have a tendency to swell, become infected, and crack. We must, therefore, keep a very close eye on her and provide frequent local care to slow the progression of her condition.

2. Pellets would help her keep healthy

A balanced diet, like the one provided by pellets, would be very beneficial for Union. It would help her maintain a good overall condition and provide the energy she needs to better cope with her illness.

3. Successive heatwaves prevent the grass from growing back!

Following a lot of adoption cases involving animals that need to regain their strength, the costs of treating them have put us in a difficult situation... Not to mention that due to the heat, there are no more grasses in the meadows!
