Even Song is a 29-year-old mare who frequently has bouts of heaves. When this happens, we administer treatment to soothe her coughing fits.

We also attempt to keep her outdoors as much as we can, in order to prevent her from being overly exposed to the dust from the hay…

2. Pellets would help maintain her condition

An easily moistened feed such as pellets would be ideal for Even Song. Rich in minerals and vitamins, they would provide her with precious energy, without the risk of triggering respiratory issues linked to the presence of dust.

3. Our budget is tight!

Many of our charges are approaching the end of their lives, and need dietary supplements. Unfortunately, pellets represent a cost and we don't have the means to buy enough...
