Weight loss, high urea levels, damaged teeth: as he ages, Oliver's health is deteriorating...

1. His health is deteriorating...

Oliver is a cat of approximately nine years old. Over time, the level of urea in his body has been increasing. As a result, we have been keeping a close eye on him. Many of his teeth have become loose and he has lost weight (his flanks have hollowed out).

2. He lives outside...!

Poor Oliver, unfortunately, lives outside. In the secure enclosure where he is, he has no shelter of his own. Thus, he often ends up chilled to the bone when it rains, which does nothing to help his condition...

3. A shelter would protect him from the elements

A kennel would provide Oliver with a sheltered place to rest. This would allow him to benefit from more restorative sleep. Not to mention that not having to sleep directly on the ground would be a real relief for him!

4. We are critically short of resources...

Many of our cats have health conditions and need suitable food and equipment that we, unfortunately, cannot afford to buy. In total, nearly a hundred of them are relying on us!
