Lorette is a 23-year-old pony, who suffers from Cushing's disease. She constantly has laminitis, which impedes her movement. Sometimes, she even has an abnormally accelerated heartbeat...

To enable her to walk without pain, we have provided her with small booties. She also needs to be trimmed very regularly.

2. Pellets would help her maintain her strength

A balanced and healthy diet such as pellets would be ideal for Lorette. Rich in minerals and vitamins, they would provide her with precious energy, which would help her maintain her condition despite her handicap.
