Mouth ulcers, missing teeth, inflammation: Pomme has a severe case of calicivirus!

1. Illness making it difficult for her to eat...

Pomme is a ten-year-old cat suffering from calicivirus which has led to weight loss. Her mouth is inflamed and ulcerated, leading us to having to remove a number of her teeth (she only has two fangs left).

This procedure has helped to reduce the inflammation. However, Pomme can no longer chew dry food any more.

2. Blankets would provide a comfortable resting spot

A supply of blankets would offer Pomme a clean and comfortable place to rest. This could improve the quality of her sleep, which is hugely valuable at her age.

3. We severely lack resources...

Many of our cats have medical conditions that require specialised food and equipment, which we unfortunately cannot afford. In total, there are nearly a hundred of them relying on us!
