Siamy is a two-and-a-half-month-old kitten born in a private home where the situation spiralled out of control: due to a lack of neutering, the number of cats ballooned to over twenty. We have taken responsibility for all of these cats to have them neutered, identified, and cared for. Siamy and her sister Bianchi are still being weaned by their mother, waiting to be relocated to our facility.
To continue her growth, Siamy needs a diet rich in energy and nutrients. Canned kitten food, which is denser and more nutritious than adult food, would provide everything her little body needs to develop properly.
We currently have over 35 cats in our care, including about fifteen kittens. Our organisation is almost entirely dependent on a single volunteer, who works on the side to cover her own basic needs. In this rural area, the adoption of adult cats has been at a standstill for two to three years. Veterinary costs are stacking up, donations are almost non-existent, and our reserves are dwindling: we need help more than ever.
