1. He was born during a heatwave...

Noah is a tiny kitten, born on the 11th of July, in the midst of a heatwave. His mother, Eden, lived in a private home where they believed she was male: no one expected her to give birth. The kittens found themselves exposed in full sunlight. Three of them did not survive, and the others suffered severe burns. Weighing barely 160 grams, Noah was initially rejected by his mother: we had to feed him with a bottle and watch over him day and night, treating his wounds until Eden finally accepted to nurse him.

2. Kitten canned food would be vital for such a small being

Noah is still being nursed by his mother, but his weaning is approaching. For such a small and weakened kitten, the transition to solid food will be a critical period. Canned cat food, rich in calories and easy to ingest, would be essential for him to gain weight and continue his growth in the best possible conditions.

3. The association hangs on the shoulders of a single person...

We currently have more than 35 cats in our care, including about fifteen kittens. The association relies almost entirely on a single volunteer, who works on the side to sustain her own needs. Here, in a rural environment, the adoption of adult cats has been at a standstill for two or three years. Veterinary expenses are mounting, donations are almost nonexistent, and our reserves are dwindling: we are more in need of help than ever.
