Missing teeth, inflamed gums, difficulty eating: poor Vagabond has gingivitis and a compromised immune system!

1. He can't seem to shake off a case of gum disease…

Vagabond is a cat of roughly 12 years old, who came to our shelter four years ago. Sadly, he's struggling with gum disease, which refuses to clear up due to his weakened immune system caused by FIV (feline immunodeficiency syndrome).

Some of his teeth have been removed to help relieve the discomfort in his gums. This means that he can no longer eat dry food.

2. Canned food would help him regain strength

Food that's easy to consume would be perfect for helping Vagabond recharge his energy. Such canned food, specially tailored for his age, could prevent the onset of other health issues like diabetes or kidney failure.

3. Over 200 cats are relying on us!

At the moment, we have 170 moggies at the shelter, as well as about forty cats in foster homes. Rescuing more cats is a constant demand, but our resources to feed all of these little souls are increasingly strained…
