Poor Familiar is struggling to move due to an old hoof fracture...

1. He carries the scars of an old injury...

Familiar is a 23-year-old horse that was taken in two months ago when his owner could no longer care for him. An ancient fracture in one of his hooves causes him to limp, making it difficult for him to move about on a regular basis...

2. Pellets would help him to maintain his strength

A rich supplement like pellets would be of great value to Familiar. It would provide him with the necessary nutrients to retain his physical condition despite his age and mobility issues.

3. The drought has put us in a tight spot!

In the south, we have been hit by a significant heatwave. The sweltering temperatures have significantly impacted the health of our older charges. This also means that there has been no grass in the fields for a long time, therefore less natural food is available for them...
