1. She's been critically injured and is struggling to recover...

Indiana is an eight-year-old cat, who we took in three months ago after she was abandoned. The poor creature had a 15 cm wound on her armpit!

Despite the treatment, the wound reopened. If it cannot be operated on, she will likely have to be amputated...

2. Medication is causing her gastric distress...

To prevent her wound from getting infected, Indiana needs to take an antibiotic course. Unfortunately, the medication is disrupting her gut flora, causing her diarrhoea.

3. To regain her strength healthily, she will need suitable canned food

A highly digestible diet specially designed to ease the intestines would be the most suitable for Indiana. Rich in good nutrients, such food would enable her to regain strength before a potential operation.

4. The number of difficult cases is rising...

The situation is quite catastrophic at the moment: we have a lot of tough-to-treat moggies that nobody wants to adopt. Our food stocks are depleted, which does not make our job any easier.
