Stricken with giardiasis, poor Creamy has a fever and severe diarrhoea...

1. He is very ill!

Creamy is a three-year-old cat who has contracted giardiasis. This intestinal parasite causes such severe diarrhoea that he has lost a lot of weight and is now extremely weak! He also has significant fever...

2. To regain strength, he will need suitable canned food

A gastro-intestinal diet would be most suitable for Creamy in his situation. Rich in good nutrients and easy to digest, such canned food would give him the energy he needs daily.

This would also be a good way to keep him hydrated and help him put on weight.

3. It's catastrophic!

At the moment, we are caring for roughly thirty tomcats, including about ten kittens. Sadly, there are hardly any donations. With the current outbreak of giardiasis, we don't know what we are going to do...
