Poor Emma was going to be slaughtered for her meat...

1. She was about to be killed...

Emma is a three-year-old ewe that we took in following a seizure. The local authorities got in touch with us, as she was at risk of being killed for her meat. We, therefore, undertook her care.

2. Pellets would provide her with sustenance

Supplementary feeding like pellets would allow Emma to replenish her energy on a daily basis. Gaining strength in this way would help her become stronger before the winter sets in.

3. The costs incurred due to drought are immense!

Due to the summer season's drought we had to dip into our stocks of hay and pellets much earlier than anticipated. This has resulted in substantial expenses for our association!
