1) Without dog food, puppies are fed with bread and rice : they lack of protein! Many of them already died last month...
Rico was so weak when Marusia found him that he had to be put on a drip to help him regain some strength. Unfortunately, last February, the disease took him away ...
Exhausted by the cold and a poor diet, Suzy did not survive a heart attack: she died in late February when she was only a few months old ...
Found in an abandoned house, Floryn arrived at Marusia's very weak and skinny by hunger. Bread and rice could not save him ...
Bela was so weak that she did not survive being cold and hungry ... She died in February.
Jony also died in February, his body wasn't strong enough...
Lots of puppies live at Marusia's: weaker than the other dogs, they have to fight diseases with an empty stomach and cold feet... When they arrive at Marusia's, they already are so weak that neither the bread nor the rice help them to survive: dog food will help them live !
2) Marusia can't afford to buy dog food: she cooks rice and bread pots.
Marusia puts together all the left overs from the city restaurants to warm up the dogs.
Starved, the dogs are happy to receive a piece of bread.
Overwhelmed by the debts, the french association can't help Marusia buying food for the dogs: she goes everyday to ask for the left overs in the city restaurants.
Most of the time she's left with bread and rice: that diet is dangerous for the dogs, even more for the puppies who may die!
3) Some of the puppies we want to save by sending dog food :
Marusia saved Kaponne from the street, he is safe now! Aged of 4 months, he is so skinny that he will not be able to grow up properly by eating rice and bread ...
Aged of 5 months, Brenda has been bitten in the neck during a fight. Hunger makes dogs nervous !
When she was found with her brother Rico, Naya was so weak that she had to stay at the clinic for a while. She feels better now but will need proper and healthy food to survive !
Linda is petrified by the cold, she's trying to warm herself up, hunched up on a blanket...
Empty stomach, living outside all day everyday, Fabio is trying to keep his strength together to stay alive...
These three puppies have just been found in a cemetery in the village. Weakened by the cold, they will have to eat dog food to recover...

We are able to take action, we have already booked a truck and pallets, but we have to pay our transporter before March 10th.
If the collection fails, we will not be able to pay, the departure of the truck will be canceled and none of the collected food will be delivered...
If the collection fails, we will refund all donors.
5) Evicted from their shelter, the puppies have to live in Marusia's garden while waiting for a new land...

Weakest puppies are kept in Marusia's kitchen, but there is not enough room for all of them...
Since they had to leave their shelter, the volunteers are struggling to find a new place ready to welcome all the dogs. Meanwhile, Marusia welcomes 30 of them: but because she doesn't have a big house, they have to live in her garden ...
The most fragile ones are sheltered in the kitchen or the bathroom. The other puppies are not protected from the cold and need to eat more to maintain their body temperature: bread and soup will not be enough!
While waiting to raise the funds needed for the acquisition of a new shelter where the dogs will all be gathered, we are the only ones able to help them !
6) Axi Hope France association is struggling to support Marusia, neither the government nor the foundations want to help...
Prevent and heal the dogs is extremely expensive !
Any small help is important and makes a difference !
Without any outside help, the association must take care of the costs of vaccination, sterilizations, medicines, rescues followed by surgeries ... Many expenses without any regular cash flow!
The only way to reach both ends is to count on the generosity of the donors. But despite their attempts, it seems impossible to buy enough dog food to feed them every day...
7) Marusia is saving the dogs from being killed !
Asha was a stray dog, he always met the volunteers in the streets and fields to be fed. Unfortunately, he passed away after being severely abused by a human hand... The association will soon change its name after him to honor Asha.
Today, Marusia refuses to witness another crime, so she tries to save any lost soul she can find in the street !
Marusia feels very closed to any dog she is saving !
Marusia has to work hard to provide for her family. After being at work all day, she dedicates all her free time to the dogs she keeps at home. She's very important to Axi Hope France as she is the one dealing with the feeding of the dogs, the management of the foster families, rescues, cleaning, adoptions... She wakes up very early and and doesn't sleep that much! She is so brave that all these miracles couldn't have been done without her...
8) What will the 1 750 kg of junior dry food be used for ?
If the collection succeeds, the 1 750 kgs collected will be given to the 27 puppies gathered in Marusia's garden.
