We just visited Valcea's Public Shelter : it's an emergency ! 500 dogs don't have anything to eat anymore...
Nicoleta gets donations from supporters, but they are not enough to to buy food for 500 dogs !
Neither the government nor foundations want to help, we are their last chance !
We promised Nicoleta we would help her. She asked us to raise 6 000 kg of dry food for dogs.
We are afraid this collection might fail as the goal is very high, but we will fight for her and the dogs until the end !
Warning! If the collection fails, we won't be able to pay the truck, and will have to cancel everything : in this case the dogs wouldn't receive any food (all donors who would have participated would be reimbursed)
If the collection is a success, we will publish all the pictures of the delivery to assure you a complete transparency.

For n°2 and n°3 solutions, we do not ensure any following-up nor counting, and we release ourselves from all responsibilities.
1) We visited the shelter on March the 11th : there were only 3 days of food left... Today the stock is gone !
With 600 kg of dry food for dogs, the volunteers can only offer three meals to the 500 dogs...
The maximum capacity of Valcea's public shelter has already been reached : 500 dogs are locked in cages night and day... Nicoleta is struggling to find ways to finance that much food !
When we visited the public shelter on the 11th of March, we were shocked : the last collection offered by Animal Webaction's community was already gone, there were only 3 days of food left !
Today, there is nothing left... We can help Nicoleta by sending her food in emergency !
2) If Nicoleta doesn't bring dry food to the public shelter, the dogs are starving : it will happen again if we do nothing !
Ginger died last September : she was so weak that, without food, she couldn't survive the public shelter...
Chips was only a puppy when she died ! She was a victim of the lack of food in the shelter, the vet couldn't save her...
Beni was living in the public shelter for three years. Weakened by the hard living conditions of the public shelter, he would never have survived without the help of Nicoleta ! He has been adopted in England in February 2019.
Nicoleta saved Nero because he was too old to survive the terrible living conditions of the boxes... He is now living in France since last February.
Poor Eric was dying in the shelter : aged of only 2 years old, he has been adopted few weeks ago.
Felix will have the chance to know the love of a foster family thanks to Nicoleta, he has just been adopted in Germany !
3) Nicoleta told us about her distress : her calls for donation are never answered...
Tuesday 12th of March, Nicoleta posted a cry for help on the social media with the help of her friend and volunteer Florentina to get food : she needs help !
Each rescue is financed by Nicoleta : she has no money left for food !
Nicoleta is daily heart broken : buy food or heal the dogs...? A real dilemma that she cannot take anymore... We can help her save the animals in distress by sending her food !
4) The public shelter doesn't feed the dogs : Nicoleta is the only one to bring food. Today she doesn't have any left, and it is forbidden to bring bread to the dogs...

When Nicoleta sees dogs in danger she saves them and bring them back home. Unfortunately she has not much more than bread to feed them...
The public shelter's employees forbid Nicoleta to bring any bread, she only has the right to bring dog food : it is much more expensive than bread! When she has no longer dog food, she has no other choice than to use her own money to purchase it...
5) If the collections fails, we won't be able to deliver, the dogs won't receive any food.

We can swing into action, we have already booked a truck and pallets for 6 000 kg of dry dog food, but we have to pay it before March 8th.
If the collection fails, we will not be able to pay, the departure of the truck will be cancelled and none of the collected food will be delivered...
If the collection fails, we will refund all donors.
6) Nicoleta told us how terrible the living conditions in the public shelter are, and all the rescues she had to realise to save the dogs from death...
Nicoleta is overwhelmed by that much misery... She visits the dogs as much as she can !
Lupi has been severely injured by his former owner... Thanks to Nicoleta he has been healed and adopted last February !
Dogs often fight for food... Bitten by the others, Lilo has been saved by Nicoleta !
Billy was so skinny that Nicoleta decided to take him out of the public shelter. He is now regaining his strengths at Nicoleta's.
Tomy was living in the public shelter with a broken leg... Nicoleta saved him !
Flower had a huge udder tumour ... She was suffering so badly that Nicoleta decided to pay for her surgery ! Without her help she would have died in her box...
Piled up in the boxes, hit by the dogcatchers or their owners, the dogs live terribly in the public shelters... They live in their excrements, have only a little bit of straw to protect themselves from the cold in the winter and are not fed by the employees of the pound who would prefer to see them starve to avoid spending money on the euthanasia ...
Nicoleta can not take this situation anymore and do whatever she can to help these helpless dogs !
7) For them and all the others we had the chance to meet, we must help Nicoleta !
Because of her skin disease Cinnamon is weak. She needs to eat properly to survive in the public shelter...
Costel had a bad broken leg and will always limp...
During a fight for food, Veronica was bitten by another dog : she is now nervous and is scared to go and eat the food...
Suffering from Parkinson's disease, Ionut badly needs food if he wants to survive!
Vasile is getting skinner and skinner... He needs to eat !
8) The dreadful public shelters of Romania
A pile of dead dogs outside of a Romanian pound...
Dog hunters, commonly known as "Dogcatchers", receive money for each dog captured. This perverse system encourages them to pick up as many dogs as possible, regardless of whether they have owners or not...
Once the animals are in their premises, they no longer bring any money, and must therefore disappear as soon as possible to free up some space for the next ones. The luckiest of them are euthanized, the others starve to death, crammed into their enclosure in complete indifference...
9) We noticed that Nicoleta's life is entirely dedicated to dogs !
Nicoleta's love for the dogs has no limit !
As dogs are often hit by the dogcatchers they can be stressed and scared. Nicoleta paid the price : she had recently been badly bitten by a dog, but she refused to denounce him so that he won't be euthanized...
Her entire life is focused on the animal wellbeing, her time, love and money are dedicated to the dogs !
We want to help this amazing woman without whom the dogs would have no chance to get a family !
10) What will the 6000 kg of dry food be used for?
If the collection succeeds, the 6 000 kg of dry dog food will be given to the 500 dogs gathered at Valcea's public shelter.

- We make sure to contact each partner association, inquire to ensure its reliability and always ask for supporting documents.
- Our partner associations only receive physical products, which means we never send money. When you offer 10kg of food, we deliver 10kg of food to the association.
