EMERGENCY! Because of a lack of kibble, these 90 dogs from Morocco only eat bread, this diet will kill them!

The situation at Anas and Mira's shelter is catastrophic: their 90 dogs are only eating bread!

Abused, beaten and tortured, Moroccan dogs are living a nightmare in the streets: weakened by so much suffering, this protein-free diet based on bread will be fatal!

The couple is exhausted, it doesn't even have the means to pay for electricity or running water: they can't buy kibble anymore!

Neither the foundations nor the Government are helping, the neighbors are even threatening them and are hostile to the existence of the shelter ...

To avoid the shelter closing, we want to send 4000 kilos of kibble in emergency!

To overcome the lack of kibble, Anas and Mira buy bread, rice and chicken carcasses. Unfortunately, animal proteins are far too expensive, and dogs mostly eat bread and rice.

Without protein, the 90 dogs at the shelter might not survive!

2) We visited Anas and Mira on July 21: they can't afford to buy kibble, there is not even running water or electricity at the shelter!

Anas and Mira have to take care of all the tasks implied when running a shelter: cleansing, caring, feeding ... But because the shelter is without water or electricity, they have to deal with many additional challenges.

Exhausted by the back and forth in order to get water everyday, somehow the couple must survive all these difficulties ...

Today, an additional difficulty is showing up: their stock of kibble is empty, the dogs only eat bread. How to face their health problems if the dogs do not have adapted food?

3) Moroccan street dogs live the worst atrocities: if the shelter had to close because of a lack of kibble, dogs would have no chance to survive ...

In Morocco, street dogs are treated like vermin to exterminate ...

Even when dogs do not live on the street, they are often exposed to misery ...

Maintaining Anas and Mira's shelter is a matter of survival for Moroccan street dogs!

This financial misery experienced by Anas and Mira makes them believe that they will soon be unable to cope ... If the shelter were to close, then the dogs would be condemned to live the atrocities inflicted on animals in the street.

The couple is holding on, unable to imagine letting the dogs live such hell again.

But if they don't receive help very quickly, they will have no choice but to surrender...

4) If the collection fails, the dogs won't receive any kibble...

We can take action, we have already booked a truck and pallets, but we have to pay it before July 29.

Despite their many calls for help, Anas and Mira find themselves alone in having to heal and feed the dogs. All their money is gone, without even having the means to live properly on their side ...

Worst ! Victims of complaints and attempts to poison the dogs from the neighbors, Anas and Mira had to move several times already ... This aggressive and evil atmosphere is heavy!

6) We want to save the dogs we've met!

7) Anas and Mira are desperate and exhausted ...

Anas and Mira can't afford to maintain the shelter and live properly at the same time. Exhausted by so many sacrifices, they are struggling to even make it ... Their diet consists mainly of bread and eggs, and their clothes are in a very bad state.

Despite all these concessions, the couple can't resign themselves to abandon these dogs who already aren't considered in Morocco ...

8) Rejected and slaughtered, Moroccan street dogs live on probation

Petitions follow one another to ask the authorities to put an end to the slaughtering carried out throughout the country, in vain

With an estimated population of around 2 million street dogs, Morocco has been carrying out mass slaughter operations at regular intervals for decades.

Dogs are poisoned with strychnine, or shot with a gun, usually in the spring: before the arrival of tourists, or any other important international event.

Spaying programs have already been carried out in some Moroccan cities: unfortunately, they have so far always been abandoned, as their results take too long to be seen.

9) What will the 4000 kg collected be used for ?

This collection is organized by the association Mira pour la Protection de l'Environnement. The 4000 kilos of kibble collected will be delivered to Anas and Mira to help them feed the 90 dogs gathered at the shelter.
