Leo lost a lot of weight, we are out of wet food to keep him from being undernourished.

1. Because of a Calcivirus, Leo can't chew anymore, he doesn't feed himself.

Leo is a cat of about 5 years old who suffers from Calicivirus: this highly contagious disease is widespread in free ranging cats because it is transmitted through saliva. This causes a very painful inflammation of the gums, which makes it difficult or even impossible to chew food.

 2. Since he hardly eats any food at all, Leo has lost a lot of weight! 

In spite of a cortisone shot he received recently, Leo is in a lot of pain and can't eat kibble. His gums are too sore to chew. Because of this, he refuses to eat and has lost a lot of weight!

"We are now very worried for his health."

3. Wet food would help Leo regain weight, unfortunately the charity doesn't have any...

Since it is impossible for Leo to chew the kibble, he can only eat wet food. Unfortunately, the association doesn't have any pouches to give him at all.

Without nutritious food, Leo may soon run out of strength. He's already so skinny...

4. The charity doesn't need money, just a few pouches of wet food to help Leo, but it doesn't manage to get any...

"Under the present circumstances, all our charity's food collections in stores have been cancelled. We tried for a while to use our own funds to buy food for the 70 cats we feed, but we are running out of resources.

And even if we could find the financial means to buy food for them, the stores have been cleaned out! These cats absolutely need food as soon as possible or they won't last much longer..."
