Keri is a very wildcat, about 4 years old. Unfortunately, she lives outside, near a car garage.
Several cats live there and there have already been dramatic accidents: some of them were so cold that they took shelter in exhaust pipes to keep warm. Many lost their lives doing so.
When we took her to the vet to be neutered, he realized that she had severe gingivitis. It's so painful that she can't eat kibble anymore.
To relieve her of the pain, we decided to remove some of her teeth. But the veterinarian is adamant: the infection is chronic. Keri's gums will probably never heal.
March is still very cool and humid at night. Without blankets to keep warm, Keri might freeze to death, or take shelter in an exhaust pipe for lack of anything better!
There are more and more free roaming cats in need. Many of them are sick: they need an adapted food (more expensive than kibbles) and blankets to keep warm. But our financial means don't allow us to help them anymore. We desperately need help!
