As his owner had fallen ill, poor Belou was no longer fed!

1. His owner couldn't feed him anymore...

Belou is a 6-year-old donkey that we rescued in January 2020. His master had fallen ill and could no longer go and feed him. By the time we took care of him, Belou had already started to weaken and lose weight.

2. We ran out of pellets to help him regain his strength

Belou needs to be supplemented with pellets to regain strength and weight quickly. Without it, he is at risk of weakening and endangering his health!

3. We're overwhelmed!

With nearly 350 donkeys to feed every day, we are completely overwhelmed: there is still not enough grass in the meadows and we can't find pellets in the shops because of the lockdown. Only hay remains, but our sickest equids can't live on it (some of them can't even eat it!).
